The Thai-Chinese Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and the China International Supply Chain Expo Roadshow were held in Bangkok.
Bangkok, January 22 (Xinhua) -- The 2025 Thailand-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and the roadshow for the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo were held here on Tuesday.
Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), stated in his speech that the CCPIT has long been committed to promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Thailand.
He expressed his willingness to work with Thailand to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, taking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to further promote pragmatic cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, enhance the level of trade cooperation, and expand investment cooperation.
Mr. Ren also warmly welcomed the Thai business community to actively participate in the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo to deepen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of industry and supply chain.
Representatives from the Thai political and business sectors pointed out that mutually beneficial cooperation between Thailand and China in the fields of economy, culture, and science and technology is flourishing.
They stated that Thailand will actively organize delegations to participate in the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo, aiming to connect the production and trade networks of the two countries, integrate into China's industrial chain and the global market, and continuously promote bilateral economic and trade cooperation to a new level.
During the event, the China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation signed letters of intent with relevant Thai enterprises and institutions to participate in the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo.
More than 300 attendees participated in the event, including Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Minister of Commerce of Thailand, as well as representatives from business associations and enterprises from both countries.
